October is officially half-over. Crazy. This is, by far, my favorite time of the year. The hunting, the football, the change in weather can all be enjoyed.
I had another birthday last week; survived another trip around the sun. I have felt my life gain momentum in very positive ways since turning fifty a couple years ago. To say that I am blessed is the truth. I have truly grown to love Whitewater and seen much good in many people.
So I will, again, hit this topic of immigration. I will attempt to do so with love and grace.
Last week, established conservative journalist posted an investigation into immigration across the U.S., Wisconsin, and very specifically Whitewater.
Yeah… it is a hard hitting piece. It focuses on more negatives than many progressive leaders want discussed.
Yes, that is me in the video. Nice reminder that losing thirty pounds needs to be followed up with losing another thirty pounds.
The left-wing blogger, Kim McDarrison, quickly wrote a (very poorly written) piece attempting to debunk. She went after the writer and contributors; lots of character attacks and not a lot of disputing of the facts.
This is becoming a common occurrence. Several weeks ago I wrote about the need for Whitewater to fix the lakes before taking on more garbage. The post was released at 6am. By 930am, McDarrison had published a hasty reply from Whitewater’s progressive city manager. To my credit, that evening, my post had five times the hits of the rapid response by McDarrison/Weidl. I appreciate the support.
Imagine if that motivation were applied to clean up the shoreline of Trippe Lake?
So, anyways … the rapid response team from the city seems to be in effect.
Back to immigration… let’s have a serious discussion regarding immigration.
- First and foremost, Jesus commands us to love God (first) and love each other (second). We are absolutely commanded to love. This includes everyone. With regard to immigration, we are to love immigrants. We are not being Christ-like unless we do so.
- Generally speaking, (I am going to consistently use the description “immigrants” here), immigrants are very easy to love. They bring culture and love.
- Our immigration system in America is completely broken. Many people feel this is by design.
- Harris and Biden have intentionally allowed and encouraged undocumented immigrants to come to the United States.
- A disproportianate number of criminals have crossed the border with people hoping for a new, better life.
- Drugs and human trafficking (associated with the border) have destroyed so many lives.
A question needs to be asked when a public figure claims to care about immigrants.
What are the fruits of that public figure’s life?
So often, with a public figure, I see the fruits of their life to be nothing more than a quest for power.

Speaking of … this is a must listen. What a scary woman is Kamala Harris:
Let’s do one more Tucker Carlson discussion regarding Wisconsin:
One of the strongest points made by Carlson is that taxpayer funded, affordable housing is tied directly to immigration.
Sound familiar, Whitewater?
When I see these progressive leaders, all I see is a lust for power… Biden, Harris, Evers, Whitmer. These people have no good fruit from their lives.
So why on God’s Green Earth would you believe they care about you? Why would you really believe they care about immigrants?
They don’t. They only care about power.

So the progressive leaders in our country have weighed the tradeoffs of immigration (and the progressive power associated) versus safety and prosperity. They have chosen power. This goes for so much more than immigration.

So where does it leave us?
Our government prints one trillion dollars every hundred days (and this rate is growing). That is $400M every hour of every day.
This did not happen under Trump. (COVID jacked it up, but I digress)
What does $400M every hour of every day go for? Government spending, including endless wars and welfare.
It is not okay for our government to provide money to people that can work (immigrant or non-immigrant). It is not okay to accept money that has been stolen (via punitive taxes or inflation) for any reason.
Government is not god. Socialism spreads like wildfire when government dependence and fear hit a people.
People are rightfully upset with this government spending.
That is why prices have almost doubled under Harris/Biden. Virtually no other reason.
And it is not sustainable.
This lust for power is great; and it is evil.
So then there is this:

I want to reiterate here…. why trust a public leader with no good fruit from their lives? When all they can do is dehumanize those that disagree.
It’s a unique writing style with a unique vitriol.
Anyways, let me know your thoughts…. good, bad, or otherwise….
I absolutely love Whitewater. I wish you all peace and they absolute very best.
Seek Jesus,
mike
