Start with the boring, lame, gratuitous personal story….
I assume most people who read my silly blog know that I am divorced with ~equal placement of my kiddos. Well, my daughter left her Halloween candy with me.
And I must run a communist household, because the dad tax was great. I ate all her candy. Then I felt guilty, so I bought her more candy. Then I ate it all again. And I was doing so good…. That temptation is a mighty thing…
Anyways, the topic of today…. The podcasting and Kamala.
So Kamala was chided for not doing the Joe Rogan podcast.
I am a long time listener to Rogan. I love when he talks jiu jitsu and MMA and I love many of his guests. His podcasts are long, so I get thru about one per week. The podcast with Trump was good. The podcast with Vance was good, but I didn’t get all the way thru it. I never got to the Elon Musk podcast. I love when Rogan talks to Jordan Peterson.
So it is fairly obvious that Kamala could not handle three and a half hours of real conversation with a voter. I actually give John Fetterman credit for trying. I only saw a couple clips, but it’s something……
For years, I have been disgusted (word of the week) by the scripted interviews that so many leaders get.
One can blame Kamala, but when is the last time a Democrat ever sat down for a REAL conversation?
Yeah, we see Wisconsin Dems talk to Mike Gousha for 10-15 minutes, but that is so lame.
Tony Evers could never handle three and a half hours talking to a real voter. Imagine having to answer real questions about the creepy direction of the DPI, or abortion, or immigration… there is just no accountability
Nationally, has Barack Obama ever had to answer questions about his sending IRS agents (like Lois Lerner) after conservatives?
Has Obama ever had to answer why he gave Mexican cartels guns?
Has Obama ever had to answer why he wire tapped the Trump campaign?
Obama could never handle the accountability of a real interview with a real voter asking real questions.
You think Obama or Clinton will ever have to face the accountability of being asked about Jeffrey Epstein?
I first noticed this when Bill Clinton was President. Bill has never really sat down and talked about Monica or Jennifer or Juanita. Hillary has never had to answer questions regarding so many allegations of corruption.
That’s why the Trump-Hillary debate was so good….finally, someone was going to tell Hillary what a majority of Americans thought.
Locally, Brienne Brown never answered the voters why she lied about her background, claiming to be a professor and a scientist.
Meanwhile, everyone from Robin Vos to Scott Walker to Donald Trump have no issue talking about whatever people want… the difference is honesty and integrity.
There is something to be said for all that.
